Amid a huge throng of loving disciples and people adorned in black, I have recently paid my last respect to His Holiness the Supreme Patriarch, Somdet Phra Nyanasamvara Suvaddhana Mahathera at Wat Bowonnives.     One day, he came to see His Holiness to ask permission for buying a computer. And that time, he was slightly proud to know something that the Supreme Patriarch didn’t know yet.

    So he explained to the Supreme Patriarch that what computer is and how to use it. “You should take up the meditation practice first,” His Holiness answered and was quiet for a while before continuing that
    “The best computer is you (human).”

    The Supreme Patriarch compared keyboards to our six sense organs – eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind while the part of managing the data in the software is like our mind management.

    His Holiness asked his assistant secretary, “Have you ever dreamed you could fly?”
    “If you have, that means your data management made an error.”

    He said that if we dream of what we cannot naturally do, it means that we lack of the mindfulness.
